Caroline Young
Program AssociateCaroline Young joined the Foundation in 2008 as a Program Associate for the Public Understanding of Science and Technology program. Prior to joining the Foundation, Ms. Young worked at The Bridgespan Group, a non-profit consulting group in New York, where she benefited from a dynamic working experience founded in the TBG core values: Impact, Respect, Candor, Collaboration, and Passion. Ms. Young was a New York City Teaching Fellow and a Lead English Teacher at Truman High School in the Bronx (2004 - 2007) where she wrote and instituted a school-wide, standard sophomore English curriculum. In her available time, she volunteers as a grant writer for the East African Center for the Empowerment of Woman and Children.
Ms. Young has a Bachelor’s degree in American Literature from the University of California, Los Angeles, a Master’s of Science in Teaching for Secondary Education from Fordham University, and a certificate in Philanthropy and Grantmaking from New York University’s School of Professional Studies.
