Public Understanding of Science and Technology
Playwrights Horizons has partnered with Sloan to commission new plays about science and technology. A founding grant has offered one major commission to an experienced playwright each year, with production support, for a new play about science and technology when a suitable project is found. To date, two commissions have been approved, one to Lisa Kron in 2006 and a second to Christopher Kyle in 2007.
