Ausubel Addresses Ocean Scientists on Observing Marine Life

Each year, the Partnership for Observation of the Global Oceans (POGO) convenes a forum of directors and leaders of major oceanographic institutions to promote and advance global oceanography. On January 7th, 2009, Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Program Director Jesse Ausubel addressed the group about the advances and challenges in global observing systems for marine life, drawing on technologies advanced by the Census of Marine Life research program.
