Microbiology of the Built Environment

Grants in the Indoor Enviornment program focus on at least one of the following three areas:
- Basic research on microbial populations found in indoor environments;
- Development of tools and methods for collecting, sorting and identifying microbial populations;
- Practical applications of microbial research to specialized indoor environments, such as hospitals or health care facilities.
Interested grantseekers with a relevant project idea should email a one page letter of inquiry to program director Paula Olsiewski. Before submitting a letter of inquiry, please read the Foundation's guidelines on what we do not fund.
