Industry Studies Affiliates
By becoming an Industry Studies Affiliate, scholars are given access to the industry studies listserv, a community of industry studies researchers, scholars and academics who share information about new developments, conferences, workshops, and subjects of interest in industry studies. Affiliates are also eligible for grants in the Foundation's small grant opportunities program.
A directory of Industry Studies Affiliates is available to encourage and assist collaboration among scholars within the Industry Studies program. Once registered in the directory, Industry Studies Affiliates can use the available information to identify possible workshop participants or seminar speakers, potential collaborators, and experts in complementary fields.
Affiliate status is open to a wide range of scholars, including faculty members, research staff, and post-docs working in academia. We encourage participation by any scholar who seeks to ground his or her research in the deep knowledge of particular industries that they or others obtain through visits and direct contact with people in the industry. The key to participation is a shared commitment to a research approach that places great value on direct contact with industry for insights, data and observations.
