Industry Studies Annual Conference

The 2008 Industry Studies Annual Conference will be held in Boston, MA, on May 1 - 2 , 2008.  A wide range of research projects will again be presented this year. The conference agenda and list of speakers is available online.

Industry Studies Annual Conferences include sessions that are organized thematically around timely issues of importance to many industries.  Topics discussed at previous conferences include “Corporate Strategies for the Digital Economy” (2001), “Factors of Success for the New Competitive Environment” (2004), and “Innovation and Globalization” (2005).  In addition to panels of researchers addressing a specific theme, invited scholarly papers on many different topics are presented in parallel and interactive-poster sessions. (Many of these papers are included in the Industry Studies Working Papers Series.)  The industry studies community also recognizes the outstanding scholarship of its members at each conference, honoring Sloan Industry Studies Fellowship awardees and awarding prizes for journal publications, books and doctoral dissertations.
