Industry Studies Programs - How to Get Involved

The Sloan Industry Studies program is pleased to support information-sharing across and within industries in a variety of ways including the Annual Conference, the Industry Centers, the Working Papers Series, Workshops, Seminars, and Travel, Networking and Book Promotion grants.  To take advantage of these opportunities, you must first become an Industry Studies Affiliate.  Information about how to become an Industry Studies Affiliate and all of the other programs can be obtained by clicking the relevant link below.

In 2003, the Sloan Foundation established the Industry Studies Committee (ISC) to help carry out the program’s objectives and oversee many of its activities.  The current members of the ISC are Professors Frank Giarratani (University of Pittsburgh), who currently serves as the committee's coordinator, Diran Apelian (Worcester Polytechnic Institute), Susan Helper (Case Western Reserve), Ken Kraemer (UC Irvine), and Richard Lester (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). Two Sloan Program officers, Gail Pesyna and Frank Mayadas, serve as ex-officio members.
