Gail M. Pesyna, Program Director
Industry Studies Seminar Grants Seminar grants are available to promote the dissemination of research findings among Industry Center Faculty and other Affiliates. The funds available in this program are targeted especially to promote career development. With this in mind, proposals from Assistant Professors in the tenure stream and from Associate Professors who have earned tenure are especially encouraged. Similarly, proposals are very welcome from senior scholars who agree to invite junior industry studies colleagues to present papers in their department, school, or research center. Grants under this program are limited to a maximum of $5,000, depending on the number of speakers and related expenses. Proposals may be brief, but they should describe the seminar theme and time table (semester or academic year). Also, speakers should be identified in advance of submitting a formal proposal. Normally, 4-5 speakers invited to present papers around some general theme would constitute a series. Informal inquiries to the Industry Studies Committee (IndustryStudiesCommittee@sloan.org) concerning this program and possible seminar themes are strongly encouraged. For more information, please contact Frank Giarratani (frankg@pitt.edu) or Gail Pesyna (pesyna@sloan.org). Back to Industry Studies Programs Page Back to Industry Studies Homepage
