Training the Next Generation of Scholars


Through its Sloan Centers on Working Families, the Foundation is educating and training the next generation of scholars in work-family research. In total, the Centers have produced over 60 Ph.D.s and over 40 post doctoral fellowships. Sloan Center graduates and fellows have gone on to tenure-track positions at such institutions as the University of Alabama; Brigham Young University; the University of California, Los Angeles; the University of Connecticut; Indiana University; Michigan State University; Northwestern University; and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
